General Description: Design, build and maintain web sites using scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media. Create web models that include physical, interface, logical, or data models. Incorporate technical considerations into web site design plans, such as budgets, performance requirements, legal issues, including accessibility and privacy. Develop web site maps, application models, image templates, or page templates that meet project goals. Develop system interaction or sequence diagrams. Provide clear, detailed descriptions of web site specifications such as project features, activities, software, communication protocols, programming languages and operating systems software and hardware. Incorporate ecommerce and shopping cart. Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills Any other job duties as assigned by supervisor
Work experience requirements: Two or more years experience as graphic designer and programming Experience with Dreamweaver and other Macromedia programs Experience with Adobe programs Excellent communication skills Good organization and time-management skills
Education Requirements College Degree in programming and/or web graphic design Degree may be substituted with experience
