1) Select START BUTTON
2) Select “CONTROL PANEL”.
3) Make sure the Control Panel is set in the Classic View. If it is not set to the Classic view, select “CLASSIC VIEW”.
4) Open “INTERNET OPTIONS”.
5) Select “CONNECTIONS”.
6) Select “ADD”
7) Select “DIAL UP”.
8) Beside “DIAL-UP PHONE NUMBER”, Enter the access phone number that is local for you. This is the number that should be highlighted on your Specification sheet.
9) Enter your User name and password in the appropriate boxes. Ensure you use only lower case letters when entering your user name and password.
10)Select “REMEMBER THIS PASSWORD”
11)Beside “CONNECTION NAME” Enter “ICEWEB”(all capital letters)
12)Select “ALLOW OTHER PEOPLE TO USE THIS CONNECTION”
13)Select “CONNECT” Wait for Vista to test your new connection.
14)Select “OK”
15)CLOSE CONTROL PANEL
16)Select START BUTTON and Go to “CONNECT TO”
17)CLICK on “DISCONNECT”
18)When the dialer appears, Right Click and Select “PROPERTIES” then the “OPTIONS” tab.
19)Change “REDIAL ATTEMPTS” to “5”, “TIME BETWEEN REDIAL ATTEMPTS” to “10 SECONDS” and “IDLE TIME BEFORE HANGING UP” to “NEVER”. Select “OK”.
