Windows 2000 Instructions

1) Select “START”

2) Select “SETTINGS”

3) Select “CONTROL PANEL”.

4) Open “NETWORK AND DIAL-UP CONNECTIONS”

5) Select “MAKE NEW CONNECTION”

6) Select “NEXT”

7) Select “DIAL UP TO PRIVATE NETWORK” then select “NEXT”.

8) Enter the access phone number that is local for you.  This is the number that should be highlighted on your Specification sheet. Select “NEXT”

9) Select “FOR ALL USERS” and Select “NEXT”

10)Enter “ICEWEB” (all capital letters) for you ISP name.

11)Select “ADD A SHORTCUT TO MY DESKTOP”

12)Select “FINISH”

13)When the dialer appears, Enter your User name and password in the appropriate boxes.  Ensure you use only lower case letters when entering your user name and password.

14)Select “PROPERTIES” then the “OPTIONS” tab.

15)Change “REDIAL ATTEMPTS” to “5”, “TIME BETWEEN REDIAL ATTEMPTS” to “10 SECONDS” and “IDLE TIME BEFORE HANGING UP” to “NEVER”.  Select “OK”.
