Windows XP Instructions

1) Select “START”.

2) Select “CONTROL PANEL”.

3) Make sure the Control Panel is set in the Classic View.  If it is not set to the Classic view, select “SWITCH TO CLASSIC VIEW”.

4) Open “NETWORK CONNECTIONS”.

5) Select “CREATE A NEW CONNECTION”.

6) Select “NEXT”

7) Select “CONNECT TO THE INTERNET” then select “NEXT”.

8) Select “ SET UP MY CONNECTION MANUALLY”, then select “NEXT”

9) Select “CONNECT USING A DIAL-UP MODEM”, then select “NEXT”.

10) Enter “ICEWEB” (all capital letters) for you ISP name, select “NEXT”

11) Enter the access phone number that is local for you.  This is the number that should be highlighted on your Specification sheet. Select “NEXT”

12) Enter your User name and password in the appropriate boxes.  Ensure you use only lower case letters when entering your user name and password. Select “NEXT”

13) Select “Finish”

14) When the dialer appears, select “PROPERTIES” then the “OPTIONS” tab.

15) Change “REDIAL ATTEMPTS” to “5”, “TIME BETWEEN REDIAL ATTEMPTS” to “10 SECONDS” and “IDLE TIME BEFORE HANGING UP” to “NEVER”.  Select “OK”.
